Runcorn Rockets club was incorporated in 2017. It is one of the founding clubs in 1999 of the South West Metro Basketball Association. Our current membership is 350+ with a growth rate of 60% since March 2018. The club was formed to help the children in surrounding areas with an emphasis on having fun and dedicated to the development and participation in and the enjoyment of basketball for young adults and children. The Runcorn Rockets Club fields’ teams in all age groups - from the Under 8's Miniballers boys and girls, to U18 men & women and Seniors. Rockets typically fields between 20 and 30 teams playing in the association on Friday night and Saturday morning, and Ladies Night Tuesday, Senior Men Wednesday and Sunday evening. We have no geographic restriction on membership, and are always open to new player/coach/manager enquiries. Home for us is the 2 court Stadium of Runcorn State High School on Hill Road Runcorn.
